I love making vessels.

Of discovering the interior space as a genesis of a new form both seen and imagined. I work primarily in glass and carved stone, materials that embody radically different experiences of time.

I’m drawn to the vessel because it’s one of humanity’s oldest forms of making. Across time and cultures, we’ve shaped containers to hold what we can’t carry. I find myself returning to this ancient gesture again and again. The materials teach me. And in many ways, are always what they were meant to be.
